KFTRA also involves people in areas not covered by TRA's. The Speak Easy Team is made up of tenants and residents who want to learn more about housing services and improve the services they receive. They have the opportunity to attend seminars and conferences, estate meetings, training events. They are asked to fill in short questionnaires on the services they receive from the council and Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing.
There are now over 500 panel members spread throughout Kirklees and they are representative of the tenant profile covering age, ethnicity, gender and disablity.
