Red Nose Day at Thornhill

Wednesday 30th March 2011

Members from three of the TRAs in the Dewsbury Neighbourhood:

Lees Moor, Ashworth & Chickenley

took part in the recent Red Nose Event held at the Thornhill Lees Community Centre.  The TRA representatives ran a tombola stall and a KFTRA Information stand, Allen Leather from Ashworth also gave a demonstration of flower arranging.  The event was a huge success with hundreds of local people taking an active part and helping to raise money for Comic Relief.

Terry Clapham, KFTRA’s Neighbourhood Lead for the Dewsbury area, said that he was really proud of the team of tenant representatives who helped make the day such a success.  They are now planning to hold a further event in the Dewsbury Town Centre on 6th April.

If you are in and around the Dewsbury area please call and see them to show your support.
