On Wednesday, 16th March, Cll Shabir Pandor offically launched the Moorcroft community allotment, wildlife area and orchard. The project will see a derelict pied of land totally transformed from wasteland into a valuable community asset.
Funding for the project has been secured from Marks & Spencer and from the KNH locality working budget. Groundwork Wakefield are leading on the project and are holding meetings with local people to develop a site plan.
