Celebration Events are a huge success

Friday 21st January 2011

Young people from Woods & Carr TRA in Marsden gave a presentation about their ongoing project to get improvements made to their local playarea

Both of the recent special Celebration Events, held on 17th & 20th January, at Batley & Huddersfield Town Halls proved to be a huge success.  Over 100 tenant representatives from TRAs throughout Kirklees went along to learn about and sign up to the new three way tenant participation partnership which has been developed by KFTRA, KNH and Kirklees Council.

During the course of the events the following TRAs gave presentations on their recent community activities:

• Mirfield East
• Foldings
• Howden Clough
• Rawthorpe
• Woods & Carr Action Group
• Newsome

 

Around 50 tenant representatives attended the celebration event held at Batley Town Hall on 17th January.

The event held in Huddersfield Town Hall on 20th january proved to be just as popular
