It is with great sadness that KFTRA reports the death of Cora Duncan from Ashworth TRA in the Flatts area of Dewsbury.
Cora, who was aged 87, had lived in the same area of Dewsbury all of her life and was well known locally for ‘fighting the corner’ on behalf of Kirklees tenants. Cora had strong views on how tenants’ rents should be spent and was never afraid to let the ‘people at the top’ know just how she felt if she thought that money was being wasted.
Her hard work and commitment to ensuring that tenants receive value for money is being continued by the Ashworth TRA.
