KNH Caretaking Team together with SHAP/KNH Think Smart Recycling Team helped to ensure that the recent Clean-Up Day at Foldings Estate in Scholes, Cleckheaton, was a great success.
People living on the estate were able to have a good clear out and put out their unwanted items for collection. Although over 4 tons of waste was removed from the area, there were also many items collected which were suitable for recycling. Thanks to the Think Smart Recycling Team these items will soon be getting a new lease of life. Here’s a really nice leather sofa which will soon be finding a new home.
Jason feels that the main reason that the day proved to be so successful is because everyone worked really well together. Special thanks go to the members of the Foldings TRA, local councillors, KNH staff, the Estate Caretaking Team and the SHAP/KNH team.
