Delegates

KFTRA hold regular delegates meetings throughout the year and automatically invite the elected representatives of our Tenants and Residents Association members to the meetings. We also invite members of our Speak Easy Panel to attend and as our delegates meetings are public we encourage and welcome all council housing tenants, residents and lease holders to attend. For more details please contact the KFTRA Office on 01484 223466.

Topics at the regular meetings vary and special  meetings are called to discuss urgent issues. We have regular question and answer sessions with the senior management team, looked at the future of the Tenant Committees, discussed sheltered housing and commented on the allocations policy.

To ensure as many people as possible can attend we alternate meetings between North and South Kirklees as well as holding the meetings at different times of the day and in the evening.

The next KFTRA delegates meeting is on Friday 18th December from 12.00pm onwards in the Reception Room, Huddersfield Town Hall. We will start the meeting with a festive buffet and a chance for networking with members of other groups. We will also have the Community Rangers management team attending to discuss their proposed changes to the way that the service is delivered and what that will mean for council estates in Kirklees. if you have not been before , this is an ideal opportunity to attend an informal, friendly meeting.  Everyone welcome
